Oil prices are sharply lower today. WTI crude fell $7.26 to settle at $91.82 (-7.33%), and Brent dropped $4.45 to $94.91. According to reports from OilPrice.com and Rigzone, the sell-off is attributed to hopes that the U.S.-Iran ceasefire will hold despite a new U.S. naval blockade in the Persian Gulf, and to a bearish U.S. inventory report.
