The North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources approved four new drilling permits in its latest daily activity report, with Burlington Resources and Devon Energy leading new filings. Burlington Resources Oil & Gas Company LP was approved for two permits in Dunn County. The permits, #43001 and #43002, are for the KELLYZAL 1A-ULW and STATE DOLEZAL 4A wells, both located in the NW NE of Section 12-145N-96W. Both wells are designated for the 'CONFIDENTIAL' field, according to the DMR report.

Devon Energy Williston L.L.C. also secured two new permits, both targeting the Foreman Butte field in McKenzie County. The permits, #43003 and #43004, are for the ALBERT SOUTH 34-33-32 1H and 4H wells located in Section 34-33-32.

Summit Carbon Storage #2, LLC cancelled permits #40124 and #40125 for the BK FISCHER 1 and 2 wells in Mercer County. Summit Carbon Storage #1, LLC cancelled permits #40158 and #40178 for the TB LEINGANG 1 and 2 wells in Oliver County.

Two producing wells were listed as completed. XTO Energy Inc. completed the HBU MARMON FEDERAL 24X-13A well in the SESW of Section 13-154N-95W, Williams County. The DMR report noted no initial production (IP) test data is available for this well.

In additional status changes, Slawson Exploration Company, Inc.'s CANNONBALL FEDERAL 6-27-34H well in the SW SW of Section 22-152N-91W, Mountrail County, was listed under the Big Bend field. The specific nature of the status change was not detailed in the provided data.
