The North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources (DMR) reported no new activity in its daily filing report for Saturday, August 8, 2026. According to the DMR, the daily activity report contained no new filings for permits, well completions, spud reports, or well plugging records.

The North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources approved nine new drilling permits on Tuesday, October 6, according to its daily activity report. The bulk of the new permits were filed by Kraken Operating LLC and Murex Petroleum Corporation.
