The sole addition was a new rig deployed by Koda Resources Operating, LLC. The company spud the STONEHAM 16 well in Divide County at location 161-102-36. No rigs were removed or moved location on Tuesday.

The current rig count of 24 represents a modest increase from one week ago, when the state reported 23 active rigs on July 21, 2026. However, activity remains slightly lower than levels seen a month ago, when 26 rigs were active on June 28, 2026.
