DMR Daily Activity Report Shows No New Filings for Saturday

The North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources (DMR) daily activity report for Saturday, October 24, 2026, contained no new filings, according to the agency's data. The report, which typically lists new permits, well completions, spud notices, and plugging records, showed no activity for the day. Such days with no reported activity are a normal occurrence in the state's oil and gas regulatory system. Filing activity often slows or pauses on weekends and holidays, when many operator and regulatory offices are closed. The DMR's daily report is a key source of operational intelligence for Bakken producers, service companies, and royalty owners. It provides a near real-time snapshot of drilling and completion work being permitted and initiated across the Williston Basin. The next report, covering activity for Sunday, October 25, will be released by the DMR on Monday.
