The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has revealed its latest prediction for the Atlantic hurricane season, according to Rigzone. While the Gulf Coast is a primary concern for storm disruptions, any significant impact on Gulf refining or export infrastructure can influence the pricing and flow of Bakken crude, which often moves to that market.
In refining news, a major 400,000 barrel-per-day Saudi Arabian refinery complex has seen its restart delayed. The Jazan oil complex is now tentatively expected to restart by August 30, Rigzone reported.
